We look at using Krylov methods on two grids to compute eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices that come from descretization of a differential equation. Restarted Arnoldi is applied on the course grid. Then the eigenvectors are improved on the fine grid. We may also consider multiple grids and applications to solution of linear equations.
